I watched it back a couple times, right before the ejection both Thames and the Braves mascot were on camera and at the same time snapped their heads around to look up in the stands behind third base, so there was something definitely said loud enough to be heard on the field. I don't blame Rizzo for complaining but I also understand that the umps aren't going to take shit that by rule they don't have to take.
