Yeah. Here's the problem. It's not that there aren't some decent hitters. It's that there are too many automatic outs. You can't sustain any kind of rally if the other team gets to throw to 4 pitchers, hitting every night. They can pitch around anybody dangerous, and just wait for their three automatic outs to come up. Why it drives me nuts to sign retreads and leave a roster of .300 hitters rotting in Norfolk.
