We should trade.

I've changed my mind on DL Hall relieving. His starts have been erratic and the last two-terrible. So bring him up and try him, maybe as short reliever, maybe as a 2-3 inning guy. See how he does; maybe that's his role.Thinking Arthur Rhodes now.

They s/have brought Zimmerman up for yesterday. Not sure he's an answer, but he deserves a chance. Give Bazardo a shot too.

Irvin still doesn't impress me. His numbers are pretty nice for triple-A, but he's still giving up a lot of hits to minor league line-ups.

The slippage in the bullpen probably comes because they're being over-used. Their problems stem from poor starters.

Trade pieces not talked about much are lower-minors pitching prospects and Basallo/Willems.

Why isn't Westrook given some work in outfield and at first? Same with some others. There are simply too many infield prospects to stay infield prospects.

Mountcastle and Santander aren't great middle of the order hitters, but that's what we got. Have to improve bottom of the order to compensate. Replace Mateo and probably Urias with guys from double and triple A.BTW, Prieto's been hitting over .350 all year, OBA .397, and has struck out TEN times in 171 at-bats.

When I watched the Norfolk game the other night I saw a rule change that I am all for. The hitters were allowed to challenge the umpires ball/strike calls. I saw several bad calls changed from strike to ball. I hope mlb adopts that rule soon for the big league games.

Westie has played LF a couple of times, if I'm not mistaken.

15 HR now. 47 RBI in 47 games. Has played 5 games in outfield this year. Try at FIRST. This is their minor league player of the year-at this point at least. In 162 game schedule he'd be pushing 50 home runs.
