I had to do grown up stuff this afternoon, so I saw some of the Piriates game. I saw some guy muff a big fly in RF. It would have required a good play, but... Then some guy in LF threw behind their runner at second. Duh. 1b candidates still beating the snot out of the ball.

Those 1B/OF scrubs they signed in off season are cleaning up. If O's can't use them, they mite make good as trade bait as part of packages. Holliday doesn't want to go to the minors either. Good to see Hays and Mountcastle hitting. too.

I think the rotation guys have been solid. Bullpen kind of raggedy. Time to weed some of these girls out.

pen's looking better of late tho. Kreebel, Akin Givins have been good. The Mountain was mountainous.Polliti could help. They still need another strong late-inning arm that can either set up or close.

It seems to be coming together now. Baumann is officially in the late game mix now too. The second string 1b race shows no signs of slowing down. Maybe one of them can spell Gunnar, who can't hit anybody right now.

I think he's only had 1 bad outing out of 7 or 8.
