I'll never have to hear him referred to as Lopey again. Dude had one half of a great season, and we have a ton of bullpen. Great idea to trade him. Devil's in the future details.

These ERA's aren't good, but the K's are impressive for all of them.I think they traded for a bunch of talented ,if unproven arms.I liked the idea of two guys closing. I hope that Bautista doesn't have to carry the entire load.

Not too excited about what we got in return for Lopez. None of the pitchers we received in return were considered a top propect in the Twins orgaanization. At least they are currently healthy. That being said......given Lopez's history and the fact that he has had what amounts to a half season of real success at the major league level, I am not terriably disappointed he was traded. I have akways had this nagging feeling that he could implode at any time.
