After acquiring Andrew Benintendi from KC last week, the Yankees moved to shore up the pitching today by trading Hayden Wesneski (#7 prospect in the system) to the Chicago Cubs for RH reliever Scott Effross, and then making the BIG deal, getting Frankie Montas and Lou Trivino from Oakland for P JP Sears (#20 prospect in the system), Ken Waldichuk (#5) , and Luis Medina (#10) and 2B Cooper Bowman(#21.)

Cashman pulled off getting Montas AND Trivino without giving up either Volpe or Peraza (or even Trey Sweeney.) Nice job!

Progressives lack compassion and tolerance. Their self-aggrandizement is all that matters.

Decent people cannot fathom the amoral cruelty of the Biden regime.
