Bullpen game alright. Can't fault us there. Our guys are pure trade fodder at the deadline. We could dominate the playoffs!

I wouldn't rob Peter to pay Paul. But I mite trade one bullpen guy in a deal for a starter. Put him, Mancini, Santander,a lo-minors pitcher plus a top minor league outfield prospect on the trade block, and we could land a couple of good SP prospects.

I would want more than a couple of good SP prospects for that package.

Salem walked off Delmarva 12-11, after Delmarva had a 4 run ninth. Hope there were fireworks.

Kjerstad was 3-5 with a SF.

Bencosme whatever was 5-5. 19 year old Dominican SS hitting .394.

That wasn't a package suggestion, just a list of guys I'd trade. I doubt if they could trade that all at once because they'd want too much back.And one team couldn't give up that much pitching. A three-way perhaps? The pitching they'd get back from that w/change the face of the team. And what's more, thy could probably afford to give that much up because the replacements aren't that far off.I'd suffer the weak lineup for awhile. Anyhow, they new pitching w/keep us competitive far more than now.
