It probably won’t be his last.

Bautista will get more chances as Hyde’s confidence in him increases. Bautista has allowed three runs in 12 2/3 innings, struck out 16 batters and surrendered only one home run.

Bautista threw supernatural hard. If he hits about a guy a week, they'll be going up to the plate with brown streaks on their pants. Nobody wants their head caved in through their ear hole.

Chirinos is a total liability as a hitter, but he's imparting wisdom to the young pitching staff.They'll keep him around to work w/Adley.

Bautista is the closer at least until Lopez comes back from the bereavement list. I hope he gets another chance or two before then.

If he does, Lopez might be really sad.

I still think Lopez should be long relief and Beastista the closer. If it doesn't work out, you can go back to Lopez closing.

Maybe as a setup. But the bullpen is his place in any event.
