I hope this is quick, Too many sales get dragged out. Can't sign Soto until this is resolved.

Signing Soto would actually make the franchise more valuable.

Not going to happen while the sale is in progress, the team is not going to tie up a half a billion dollars while looking for a new owner. Huge risk involved, what if Soto injures his knee after signing a guaranteed deal? The value of the franchise could drop by 2-3 hundred million.
