Yeah the business is very profitable these last two years.This spike in deaths have been very good to us. It would be more than just another $ 200 a week, the payroll taxes and the workers comp plus just more BS that you have to deal with.If I'm out, the overtime that we would have to pay would be huge too. Most weekends and holidays , I'm out there delivering.If our driver is out in SB,I sometimes get up early around 4am and get going to get the deliveries made......My brother didn't even realize how much that I was doing until I got sick.I've always just gone to work whether I've felt good or not...

This is tough, I hope that I am just real slow to beat this, I might wait another week or so, but if this is long haul covid, I'm gonna sell the business or shut it down until I heal up... Just thankful that we've saved our money.....Did learn from reading online that one of the things with this is that blood stays in the legs and if you prop your feet up that it helps when you stand up...

Our first acquaintance who got it was laid really low, although it sounds like you got it worse.
He is president of a small company and (I would guess) is in his young 50s.
He is also the elected head of our local Community Development Corporation.
Two months after he had it (in April) we had a small (10 person) widely spaced meeting in our back yard.
We were al suprised that he had had Covid. Weakness and symptoms were such that he said that this was the first time that he had left his house. He had two full workups to check for residual effects..
Like you, he said that he was not sure that he would ever get over it - but he had. Still quite tired. But with as sharp a mind as ever.
This was before news about people getting heart problems had come out. A mutual friend said that he has continued getting - slowly - better
I hear stories like his and yours and am even more supportative of making control mechanisms a priority, whatever it is doing to business.
Sounds like depression is a problem for you. Do talk to loved ones and if you can bite your male macho lip even a professional.

But most of all, follow Lee's advice. Tele-medicine is cheap and your knowledge of symptoms is the first thing they want to know. Do it. Anything is better than it impacting your whole life.

I get my second shot in two weeks. Anthony Fauci said that the Moderna vacc (what I got/will get) really knocked him out for a couple of days. Better than your story.

Yeah pogo, yesterday I was depressed and I never get depressed Today I feel some better.I'm watching my heart rate and oxygen levels. The oxygen levels have always been good, but when I'm sitting the pulse is 68-74... then before today everytime that I got up my heart would quickly go up to 95 and sometimes over 100, just walking 10 ft.Then when I would sit back down, would go back to the mid 60's to low 70;s.....Today though the pulse rate is only going to the mid 80's when I walk around. I walked outside to the truck which is not far and I was give out when I got back, but heart rate was still in the 80;s. Today is the first day in about a week that I don't feel chest pressure around the heart area...

I've been researching LONG covid or long hawl covid and there needs to be more reporting on it....I called my doctor two weeks ago when it hit me again in the second week. She gave me a steroid pack and told me to take vitamin D3, vitamin c and zink...I hope that none of y'all get this.

THANKS BAWL!...I went to the doctor and she doesn't think that I have long covid YET. She wanted me to rest for two more weeks and told me to take something to help me sleep at night. Last Saturday i took zach and went to our macon warehouse for the first time in three weeks. I couldn't do much of anything on saturday, then on Monday after taking the sleeping aide I felt better and was able to deliver a couple of caskets about 40 miles away. I've been sleeping very well and working part time this week.I delivered 4 yesterday but just two this morning. I'm just going on the short orders and my brother is doing the longer orders. I'm gonna go to our statesboro warehouse in the morning. for the first time in over three weeks.....

I'm probably about 50% back, i feel better but i just can't stand for very long and can't do much at one time. It's crazy and unlike anything that i've ever seen, at some points during the day i feel stronger and then an hour or so later I'm not as strong. Y'all can make fun of me on this if you want but i've also had some experience with brain fog or short term memory loss too. when i get in an order now I have to call my brother or text our driver immediately or I might forget the order. ....I am getting better just slowly though.

Got my 1st COVID shot yesterday, and I'll admit I had misgivings.But other than the fact that I'm apparently growing breasts, I'm fine.

I heard that the people that get real sick from the shots are the ones that have already had covid and in some cases didn't even know that they had it..... I'm not going to get a vaccine until all seniors and at risk people get it and i need to wait atleast 3 to 4 months now....

Unfortunately, "I heard" doesn't cut the mustard as a medical opinion.
Being a little paranoid re side affects, causes thereof, how they correlate with various conditions, and the differences among the various vaccines I have been looking at around a half dozen articles a day.
In fact your description is flatly contradicted by every article that I have seen that discusses the subject.
And by "contradicted" I mean that the exact reverse of your "I heard" is what studies have reported.
Vaccination side affects among those previously affected are mild to non-existent.
Admittedly I've only seen your specific mentioned a few times. But if anything like your "I heard" had happened I have a hunch that it would have been mentioned in the couple of hundred articles and reports that
I've seen.

On the other hand, there are reports that Covid in India,& other areas of South Asia & of North Africa is significantly milder than in the US and Europe, with as little as a tenth or even a hundredth of deaths per reported cases of infection.
The best theory is that some mild similar virus previously occurred and gave relative immunity. We are talking about persons actually getting the disease, so it isn't just that deaths & serious occasions haven't been reported
Lack of reporting might explain the relative scarcity of cases (also true) but not how it affected persons who actually did come down with it & were studied.
The other major theory is that there are environmental factors. But that doesn't explain why India and not (for example) South Africa has many similar conditions but a high percentage of deaths.
