As usual, no source. Which makes the above the usual kookspere bullcrap.
I have no faith in "Moderate" Republicans. Their enabling of Trump puts them beyond my pale. I would hope that if it is a question of putting McConnell back in control that they would develop backbones and do something. But I am not holding my breath.
I read in the NYT that there were reports that Murkowski might switch parties. She called on Trump to resign and then stated, "---If the Republican Party has become nothing more than the party of [President] Trump, I sincerely question whether this is the party for me." When later asked if she would join the Democrats she said, "Definately not." There has also been speculation about Collins of Maine, but that was not, as far as I know, based on anything that she said.

Then the question would be who she would caucus with. Like King of Maine or, at least formerly, Sanders. (Did he ever formally join the Dem. party? I don't think so.)
