Angelos lost another appeal this week in the MASN case. He plans to appeal again despite having no chance of winning, sure would be nice for the appeals court to refuse to hear his case. https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports...22-jolni75h7fcijcayja6jgdykdy-story.html

Just pay the money! Havana Pete is corrupt!

The vultures are circling the Angelos carcass, see the new article in the Balt Sun. MLB will have to approve any ownership changes, even to family members, and there is no chance that the league allows the Angelos family to hang on after they sued another club. Any new owner is going to want to also purchase the Os stake in MASN but will MLB allow this debacle to continue or will they force a deal where the Lerners are able to buy out their TV rights? (For Nats fans hoping for a big payday, a sale of the Nats TV rights from MASN to the Lerners will likely cost more than the original $450 million that they paid for the team.) Probably the best case is a new owner for the Os who works out a better relationship with the Nats, both teams have full equity in their own broadcast rights, but the cost of getting out from under MASN is that the Nats allow the Os to continue to broadcast in the DC area. https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports...30-bvwjihfcprbddpejeqb4e6k3e4-story.html

Can we broadcast in Baltimore? Otherwise, they shouldn't be allowed to broadcast in DC.

BTW, MLB just approved a switch of the Baltimroe club's control person form Peter Angelos to his son John.

The Nats games appear in Baltimore. A business decision, not a fan decision.

Baltimore's such a tiny market, and there are so few O's fans in DC and NoVA, they should just move the Baltimore team to a big league market.

Welcome back, sir. Nice to see you. Baltimore's such a tiny market, and there are so few O's fans in DC and NoVA, they should just move the Baltimore team to a big league market. Lived in Inner Harbor for 3 years. Puerto Rico is a dump, but I'd take San Juan any day over Ballmer, especially Old San Juan. Charlotte NC would be an interesting relo choice, although the demographics there may be an issue for MLB.
