Maury Brown listed the MLB ratings numbers, overall the ratings were up 4% but the Nats were down 16%, 23rd in MLB. All those losses and all the new fans lost interest. Not much of a World Series bump.

Not too surprising. General pattern = teams that improved or did well had increases, and teams that sucked lost audience. Nats ratings mustve been through the roof for 2019 too, so it's an unfair comparison for them. Wow, Mets had a double digit decrease in audience despite being in the playoff hunt for most of the season. Interesting.

Were ratings up during the regular season last year? The team got off to a bad start and heading into September it looked like they weren't going to clinch that Wild Card spot. They only really started rolling in October.
