Today on Nats Talk on MASN, Phil Wood and Mike Wallace mentioned that this offseason, the Nationals considered trading OF Michael A. Taylor to the Orioles for P Alex Cobb. The Nats signed Anibal Sanchez and re-signed Jeremy Hellickson instead, and that idea went by the wayside.

However, given the Nationals' bullpen problems and the fact that Taylor, who deserves regular playing time, won't get it in DC, they suggested that perhaps later in the season the teams might think about the idea of dealing Taylor to the Orioles for Mychal Givens.

I am posting this on both teams' boards because I'd like to get feedback from both sides on this idea. I think it's definitely interesting.

Progressives lack compassion and tolerance. Their self-aggrandizement is all that matters.
