The deal is done. The Indians get OF Daniel Johnson (Nats #7 prospect), RHP Jefry Rodriguez, and the ever-popular player to be named later.
Progressives lack compassion and tolerance. Their self-aggrandizement is all that matters.
Decent people cannot fathom the amoral cruelty of the Biden regime.

If Yan Gomes makes the All-Star Game again, there will be an irony in that he will have played in the All-Star Game in Washington while playing for Cleveland and the next year, the All-Star Game in Cleveland while playing for Washington.

We've already lost Miller and Cody Allen, our "relief" stars from the playoffs two years ago. Gomes' backup, Perez, has been outstanding but withered from disuse last year. Bauer and Kluber, two of our starter stars, close or actually at the top of their vocation, are reportedly on the block. To trade (or dump) a 4.5 mill salary star catcher says that we'll never get beyond winning the Central Division. And Chisenhall and other fragile but excellent players are also gone. Is it $$$? Ya think? We do not seem to be doing anything to make up for the departures. It echoes what Detroit did over the last two years. We'll be lucky to beat Minnesota in 2019.

They probably won't trade both Kluber and Bauer. I think it's likely to be one or the other.

The player to be named later is Class A IF Andruw Monasterio.
