Well, today we improved slightly from being the no hit wonders previously.
We've always done well with people named Ramirez.
When you can only get one run in 16 innings, (4/18) we don't exacty put fear into the opposition.
Kluber blew up our ERA by pitching his worst game of the year today with.three runs, two thanks to two Machado homers.
Our four starters are all under 3, and you saw our fourth guy yesterday on his best performance yet.

And your guys didn't look like shlunks. We had (aah) a couple of good days.

The above reads like hubris, but you have to remember how close we've come in the past, so it's holding our breath time whenever we do something right.

If it makes you feel better, this time next year will see Machado in pinstripes.

Why would we want any good player on the MFY?
There are some things that go beyond simply wanting to win a game.

You've got this one. We couldn't score two runs if you spotted us one and a half.

As of 6/1/18 we have a five game streak going. Seven of the last ten.
Our bullpen, previously admirable, still bites the big one although they no longer automatically give up a lead.
Our starters are still okay with one significant exception .
Got two wins from AAA pitcher Adam Plutko.
Hitting has been admirable against weak opposition, with several players posting top ten stats.
But when we face good pitching it all closes down.
We are now showing an actual above average record and dominate the (very weak) central, and have isolated wins against the Cubs & Astros.
But as stated above, we have yet to show up with any consistency against good pitching.
And our pen leaks runs like a bad case of diarrhea.

But Kluber has a 2.02 ERA. And has given up no more than 3 runs in more than 30 reg. season games.

So, Britton would help?
