GO, I MEAN COME BACK, EXPOS!!

John McHale Jr. from MLB office attended the games this week end, yesterday on Tv he said he was really impressed with what happened, so he mentioned he will have only good things to say in his report to MLB executives. The thing that really impressed him specially saturday afternoon was the fact thaqt so many young fans attented the game, like a whole new generation of fans were wearing Expos caps, t-shirts etc.

He thought most of the fans would be in their 40's 50's etc...he said he was really surprised to see so many young fans.

So only good positive feedback from this week end, i must say i was really surprised with both crowds, last year when the games were annmouced i thought no more than 5,000 ppl would show up, i think there are a lot more baseball fans here in Montreal than i thought.

I was reading an article in this morning paper and McHale also mentioned that MLB will have to revise their plans and opinions about baseball in Montreal.

I have to say that i never missed the Expos as much as i did this week end. The noise , the excitment, the crowds, the let's go Expos chant, the tribute to the Kid, members of the 1994 team,
just a wonderful week end And don't forget the fact that the Jays and Mets gave us 2 very good baseball games considering they were exhibitions games. A lot of fun and emotions this week end
