Happy New Year, f*cksticks. I have a confession to make....
After a 30 year hiatus from basketball, I actually watched a Wizards game last night start to finish. This is an indicator of how bored I was, I guess, but I was pleasantly surprised, even despite the conspicuous void of caucasian participation. Except for Wall, those guys can't shoot worth a f*ck, but they play hard. Good defense. I'll give 'em that much. Sha-nay-nay Guy, Beal Guy, Booker Guy...not entirely bad. But with the game on the line, some dude named Ariza Guy throws up 3 bricks from 25+ feet and they end up losing. Pretty stupid IMO. That dude didn't make a damn shot all night.
Anyways, my e-mails have been dispatched to CSN, the commissioner's office, Wizards ownership, the NAACP, and other interested parties re: the following outrage that caused my eyes to tear - I saw no less than 3 KFC commercials during the telecast. Unacceptable. How is our society ever going to advance if this kind of vicious stereotyping is allowed to take place? Next thing you know, they'll be airing ads for the Mid-Atlantic Watermelon Growers Association.

not only do they play hard on D, they move the ball around on offense. team is 6th in the league in assists. and hold the press, some of the players actually admit that they like setting screens for each other. ariza guy is a streak shooter, when he's cold he's awful.
if that team can stay healthy they're a lock for the playoffs. cant admit im typing that about a wiz team, but theyre decent.
