Record not great other than Aberdeen which clinched the first half championship and guaranteed a spot in postseason.But a lot of individuals did well.Looks like Kjerstad w/go up to Aberdeen before long.And you snail s/b in Baltimore sometime this year I'd say.

Pitching is the main problem I'd say.

I would be surprised if Diaz makes it through the month without landing on the IL.

There should be a pool on The Snail. I can't see him getting a cup of coffee in Baltimore. Who would trust him to hold up?

I like that Camden chat wrapup. I can't keep up with all the trends.

Zimmermann got his butt kicked last night. I'm writing him off.

Matt Harvey has thrown five shutout innings for Aberdeen.

I'll be damned. Eligible to return on July 7th, if I remember right.

He had some really good outings last year among the ruins.

Hall pitched like crap today. His era stands at 5.17 at Norfolk.

The Orioles have to trade for pitching. The ONE starter who can help them is laid up. Nothing else is even close.And frankly, except for Rodriguez and maybe Hall, I don't see anything else coming from their farm next year either.

Hall will be of no use until he improves his command. He walked 5 today.

He missed last year, and never really recovered.

He looked fixed tonight according to the box score. The reliever Vallimont was pretty darn good too.

Hall is still too wild for the majors. Big league hitters will just watch him.

Westburg is batting .330/.356/.660 with 10 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 21 RBIs in 22 games with Norfolk. He’s tied with Kyle Stowers for the most home runs among Orioles minor leaguers with 15.

Oy. Bring him.

Norby got hit in the face. It apparently didn't finish him like it has so many.

Norfolk was the only winner. They have some good hitters.Why not bring up Vavra w/his .316 BA, .417 OBA .866 OPS? Not to mention he can play 6 or 7 positions.

Note: The Orioles traded pitcher Cody Sedlock, their first-round pick in the 2016 draft out of the University of Illinois, to the Tigers for cash considerations.

Sedlock made his only major league appearance on May 29 in Boston and allowed five runs and six hits in three innings. He was designated for assignment, cleared waivers and outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk.

I rooted for him 'till the end.

Drafted number one. The Orioles got a total of three innings out of him.

Not one of their success stories.
