It looks like the Sonny Gray trade is done.

After several days of reporting and speculation, right-hander Sonny Gray has reportedly been traded from the Yankees to the Reds and also agreed to a contract extension with his new team. It’s said to be a three-team deal involving the Mariners. Second base prospect Shed Long and Cincinnati’s Competitive Balance Round A pick will go to the Yankees in exchange for Gray and left-hander Reiver Sanmartin. New York, according to multiple reports, will flip Long directly to the Mariners in return for center field prospect Josh Stowers — the Mariners’ second-round pick in the 2018 draft.

Gray reportedly gets a 3 year, $30.5 million extension with Cincinnati.

Stowers was the Mariners' second-round pick in last year's Draft. The 21-year-old batted .260/.380/.410 with five homers and 20 steals over 58 games in Short-Season ball in 2018. He was ranked by as the Mariners' No. 10 prospect. My guess is that he'll start the season at Charleston.

The Yankees receive this and the #37 pick this year.
