It looks like the Sonny Gray trade is done.

After several days of reporting and speculation, right-hander Sonny Gray has reportedly been traded from the Yankees to the Reds and also agreed to a contract extension with his new team. It’s said to be a three-team deal involving the Mariners. Second base prospect Shed Long and Cincinnati’s Competitive Balance Round A pick will go to the Yankees in exchange for Gray and left-hander Reiver Sanmartin. New York, according to multiple reports, will flip Long directly to the Mariners in return for center field prospect Josh Stowers — the Mariners’ second-round pick in the 2018 draft.

Gray reportedly gets a 3 year, $30.5 million extension with Cincinnati.

Stowers was the Mariners' second-round pick in last year's Draft. The 21-year-old batted .260/.380/.410 with five homers and 20 steals over 58 games in Short-Season ball in 2018. He was ranked by MLB.com as the Mariners' No. 10 prospect. My guess is that he'll start the season at Charleston.

The Yankees receive this and the #37 pick this year.
