About Us

The Ballpark Guys concept was born in 1986, in the middle of the baseball season. We were attending a large number of games as usual and having a special way of enjoying those games that began to have a magnetic effect on a lot of people along the way. People want to love baseball and they want to share it and anyone's welcome at any level. I thought of the name Ballpark Guys while leaving a Dodger game in July. Since 1986, The Ballpark Guys have adopted a whole mode of baseball thinking and communication that is peculiar to us. When we meet a person who has a grasp of the world of baseball that is of a special character and dimension, we look to each other, nod and refer to that person as one of us, The Ballpark Guys.

I have dreamed of many ways to reach the masses with The Ballpark Guys' ways of knowing and loving baseball: a newspaper, a magazine, a store, a column, a show, anything that can give me the chance to be in and around The Game. With the World Wide Web, all of these things are now possible.

Ballparkguys.com is new for the year 2000. If you want to acquire a special way of knowing and loving The Game, and everything that it has to offer, enjoy it with us. The Ballpark Guys love the game.
